Membership Requirements
Eligibility:
- Must have declared accounting, finance, or BIT as a major.
- Must be a matriculated student at the University.
- Must have completed one and a half years of college; including one course beyond principles or introductory level (ex: for accounting, Intermediate 1).
- Must have attained a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Attendance Requirements
Candidates and Members must attend six professional meetings each semester. Meet the firms counts as one professional meeting. Each candidate is required to be present for semester banquet, which will also count as a meeting.
Service Requirements
Each Candidate and Member is required to complete a minimum of 8 service hours each semester. At least two hours must be completed by tutoring in the Business Learning Center. The remaining hours should be obtained through events on Beta Alpha Psi's organization page on Volunteer Odyssey.
Dues
In order to obtain membership, two semesters of candidacy are required. First semester candidates are responsible for paying dues of $125, and second semester candidates will owe $100. All payments can be made by contacting the current treasurer, Mandy Tan or through Beta Alpha Psi's Venmo account.
